Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

It is a big game coming up in the Indian Premier League 2021 as the Delhi Capitals take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the sides have won four games each out of the five matches they have played. Delhi Capitals won a thriller against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on their last game while the Royal Challengers suffered their first loss of the season against the Chennai Super Kings.
Delhi Capitals have dominated the proceedings between the two sides in the last two seasons and won all the games. The side is likely to carry that confidence into this game. But Royal Challengers have looked a completely different side this season and have had a brilliant start to the tournament. It would be interesting to see which of the sides moves to the top spot with a win in this game.
Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Dream11 Preview
Rishabh Pant would be a relieved man to win the thriller against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last game in the Super Over. They nearly messed up in the final overs defending the score only to hold their nerves in the Super Over. Pant would know the challenge at hand given the kind of form the Royal Challengers are in at the moment and need his players to deliver the goods in this game.
The opening pair is doing well and the side would be expecting a good start from Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw here as well. In the middle order the side has good strength with Pant and Steven Smith having made runs in the last game. With Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel and Shimron Hetmyer to follow, the side has good hitters down the order.
The loss of Ravichandran Ashwin midway through the tournament is a huge blow for the side. Kagiso Rabada has looked at his best and must down well along with Marcus Stoinis. Lukman Meriwala who is expected to come in will have to play an important role here. The side would also need tight spells from Amit Mishra and Avesh Khan as RCB have good hitters of the ball in the side.
Virat Kohli’s side suffered its first loss of the season in the last game against the Chennai Super Kings where they went down by 69 runs. It was the final over while bowling that turned the game away from them as they suffered the momentum to Chennai. They have dropped to the third spot on the points table and shall like to regain that spot it with a win here.
Virat Kohli is yet to play one of his special knocks and shall look to do it here with Devdutt Padikkal by his side opening the batting. Their middle order has done well and runs would be expected from Washington Sundar, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers in this game. Kyle Jamieson and Daniel Christian haven’t got too many opportunities to bat so far in the tournament and they would have to contribute down the order when called for.
The side would need tighter spells from Mohammad Siraj and Jamieson as they were expensive in the last game. Harshal Patel must overcome the nightmare of the last game and do well in the middle overs along with Yuzvendra Chahal, Christian, Sundar, Navdeep Saini and Maxwell add depth to this bowling attack.
