Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan came together and put on a match-winning partnership of 53 runs to see Mumbai Indians in a strong position to win the match. For Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar notched up his second half century of the competition. Suryakumar Yadav smashed six boundaries and one six in his innings against Delhi Capitals. He was well supported by Ishan Kishan, who chipped in with 28 runs off 15 balls with the help of two boundaries and two sixes. All-rounder duo of Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya smashed crucial cameos to help Mumbai Indians complete the chase in the final over of the innings.

Despite being hammered in their previous match, Kolkata Knight Riders are lying at the fourth position in the league table. Two-time IPL Champions will be looking to learn from their mistakes and put on a decent show in this fixture.

In their previous fixture, Kolkata Knight Riders lost the toss and bowled first against Royal Challengers Bangalore.Pat Cummins and Prasidh Krishna conceded a lot of runs in the initial Powerplay overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Leg-spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the only bowler who delivered a tidy spell and conceded 25 runs in his four overs.

Shubham Gill was the only player to register a decent score for the side. He finished the innings with the top-score of 36 runs off 25 balls with the help of three boundaries and one six.

Andre Russell and Rahul Tripathi delivered much-needed scores to see Kolkata Knight Riders post 112 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lose the game by a big margin of 82 runs.
